9/16/08 Tourney #1 Placed: 3rd WON $ 9.00 I played with good patience.. didn't really get any good hands.. Went ALL-IN on medium pairs..bluffed a few times on button later in tourney. 9/17/08 Tourney #2 Placed: 1st WON $22.50
Patient early..I got some decent cards in this tourney..made some good decisions..I went in BEHIND only once KQo vs A6o..caught a Q on turn.. that hand made me chip leader going in 4 handed..I was able to bully short stacks a little more. 9/18/08 Tourney #3 Placed: 1st WON $22.50
Ok..this tourney had a little bit of everything..started tight..I tried to "make" a few things happen but had calling station to my left..went back to tight patient style..down to around 1200 chips on BB..blinds at 40/80..guy utg raises to 240 one other guy calls so I call 160 w/89s.. flop is all low with 2 of my suit so I push hoping noone had high pair.. Initial raiser had QQ other guy folds..I catch heart on turn..and double. Then I just play tight until 4 handed..remaining players are tight so I steal a few pots..three handed I continue stealing until I knock out 3 guy..heads up I'm a little more aggress than other player..last hand I get 44 on button I raise #2 calls.. flop is 2/2/10..I push all in thinking I had best hand..Which is a stupid play (I could get the same info with a MUCH smaller bet)..anyway I hit 4 on river..VERY lucky. 9/19/08 Tourney #4 Placed: 1st WON $22.50
wow..on a heater..this tourney was the most difficult..could not bluff as much..except for 3 handed..I'm most proud of my 3 handed play..played tuff but smart..after I got my stack even with others I wanted to win it. mostly proud of heads-up play..Guy had 5:1 chip lead on me..just didn't want to give up..I suspect he got tired which is good for me..I figure if I can get to 3 handed..I want to win it. It's nights like these I hate..take the lead at 5000 with 7 players remaining get AA and raise 4x BB some fool called "wreefer" calls me with 9/10 and flops the str8..after some time away form this post, I realize that I mis- played this hand..he leads out 3/4 of pot on flop and I shove ALL-IN which was a HUGE error..I should've bet 2x his initial bet and if he reraises or even calls, realize I'm in trouble and lay it down..at this point in tourney I would still have plenty of chips..I get it back to 1800 and make what I consider to be another mistake by calling a 200 chip raise on button with 10/7o ( I know this doesn't seem like a blunder but in sitngo I don't need to get involved in uneccessary hands this early)..I flop 2 pair and other guy leads with a bet around the size of pot and I reshove ALL-IN..He flops higher 2 pair..I go out 5th..sitngo's are a game of patience early. - 9/23/08 Tourney #6 Placed: 8th WON -
Play tight down to 1100 ALL-IN with QQ guy calls with 9/10..he hits 2 pair. 9/24/08 Tourney #7 Placed: 9th WON -
Made a bad call early to a guy with AK..I had KQ..870 left..might have moved to early but shoved vs guy with AK..called it right..river was an A. -

Played a $10 NL tourney..shoulda won..three players left I am chip leader player to my left reraises my raise ALL-IN with K9o..I call with A10..flop is KKx..I have 4000 ALL-IN with 10's ..player calls with A6..flop comes Axx. |
